The Flutterby bush-league was a magical plant that quivered and shook. It produced flowers once a century that adapted their odor to attract the unwary.[1]
History
Sixth-year students in Herbology at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry were taught how to clip these bushes in the 1989–1990 school yr by Professor Pomona Sprout.[2]
During the 1994–1995 schoolhouse year at Hogwarts, fourth-years were taught instead how to prune these bushes in Herbology.[3]
In 1997, Molly Weasley planted two Flutterby bushes in the garden at The Couch in preparation for the wedding of her son, Neb, to Fleur Delacour.[4]
